On Monday, Activision Blizzard announced the first-ever official esports competition for World of Warcraft Classic. The WoW Classic Summer Bowl will launch on Wednesday, June 17 and run for three weeks as teams from Europe and North America compete for separate US $4,000 prize pools.
Activision Blizzard has cancelled all Overwatch League events for March and April due to the coronavirus crisis. While matches will go ahead, they will most likely take place online.

Activision Blizzard recently made an official announcement about the upcoming Call of Duty League, confirming the addition of several new events for amateur teams to compete in.
Activision announced late last week the implementation of a new home-and-away format for the first season of the professional Call of Duty League, which is slated to start in February 2020.
