Activision announced the Warzone Rebirth Island Tournament to feature in Australia and New Zealand. The game publisher partnered with Amazon Prime Video in respect to its new series, The Terminal List, which stars the American actor, Chris Pratt.
On Monday, Activision Blizzard announced the first-ever official esports competition for World of Warcraft Classic. The WoW Classic Summer Bowl will launch on Wednesday, June 17 and run for three weeks as teams from Europe and North America compete for separate US $4,000 prize pools.
Activision Blizzard has cancelled all Overwatch League events for March and April due to the coronavirus crisis. While matches will go ahead, they will most likely take place online.
