9INE announced Emir “rim3” Dönmez as the newest member of their Counter-Strike 2 roster amid a major rebuild.

Rim3 joins 9INE from Misa Esports, where he spent the last seven months as a loanee from Eternal Fire.

The 19-year-old started his Counter-Strike career in 2024 with Ocean Gaming and joined Eternal Fire Academy in September 2025, where he proved himself as one of the most exciting young players from Turkey.

After proving himself in the academy roster, rim3 was given a chance to play for Eternal Fire’s main lineup. He featured in four tournaments, including Winline Insight Season 8 and ESL Challenger League Season 50: Europe – Cup #4.

The short stint with EF ended in November when rim3 was loaned to Misa Esports, where he spent the next seven months.

During his time with Misa, rim3 did not win any notable tournaments, but he helped the Turkish squad claim two ESEA trophies, TESFED League Season 2, and qualify for European Pro League Series 7, where Misa crashed out in 17th-20th place.

Despite the lack of big trophies, rim3 proved himself during his stay at Misa, averaging a promising 1.21 performance rating.

Now, he will get a chance to take a step up in competition as he joins 9INE, who are undergoing a significant roster overhaul following a shaky start to the season.

Currently ranked 110th in the global rankings and 99th in the Valve Regional Standings, 9INE have struggled to find much traction this season.

Besides reaching the playoffs of several lesser tournaments, 9INE have not collected enough VRS points to secure invites to bigger events, with early exits from ESL Challenger League, Stake Ranked Episode 2, and BC.Game Masters Season 2 Europe Series #1.

Since May, 9INE have already benched Jan “cej0t” Dyl and Bartosz “bnox” Niebisz and parted ways with Roberts “shield” Tipsis, forcing the team to play with coach Danny “BERRY” Krüger.

Now, still missing one player to complete the lineup, BERRY remains listed as an active member. However, with no tournaments lined up in the coming weeks, 9INE have time to fill the final gap and complete the roster.
