On Thursday, November 20, DN Freecs announced the signing of former KT Rolster bottom lane duo, ADC Seo “deokdam” Dae- gil and support Jeong “Peter” Yoon-su ahead of the 2026 season.

The arrival of the two League of Legends World Championship 2025 finalists, DN Freecs have bolstered their lineup ahead of the LoL Champions Korea (LCK) 2026 season, with one of the biggest signings in the team’s history.

Deokdam’s arrival at DN Freecs is a part of a major ADC shuffle in the Korean league, which includes Lee “Gumayushi” Min-
hyeong’s departure from T1 and Kim “Peyz” Su-hwan’s arrival in his place.

While the 25-year-old’s arrival is not as big a move as Peyz’s return to Korea, the LoL Worlds finalist is a massive addition to DN Freecs, who are amid a major roster overhaul after a disappointing season.

DN Freecs have been struggling with their results for several seasons. In 2020, they won the KeSPA Cup and placed third in the LCK Regional Finals. Two years later, Freecs placed fourth in LCK Spring, but have not come close to winning the LCK trophy since.

Last season was DN Freecs’ worst yet. They kicked off the year with an eighth-ninth place in the LCK Cup and finished the
season in last, with just four wins (4-26) across LCK Rounds 1-2 and 3-5.

The abysmal performance led to one of DN Freecs’ most ambitious roster changes, as they welcome a star bottom lane duo who have already proven their worth both in the Korean league and on the international stage.

To ensure strong synergy, DN Freecs also signed deokdam’s teammate, Peter. The 22-year-old joined KT Rolster in June with limited experience in the LCK, having previously played for Nongshim RedForce.

Peter and deokdam are the only new signings DN Frecs have made so far this offseason. However, further reinforcements will be required to fill in the gap left behind by mid laner Lee “BuLLDoG” Tae-young, who left the team on Tuesday
