Miami Heretics faced Vancouver Surge just two weeks ago in the first round of CDL Stage 4 Minor, when the Surge won 3-0. Despite that result, the best CoD bookmakers have Vancouver priced as $4.50 underdogs for Sunday’s game.
There are reasons for that, namely Miami Heretics’ recent 3-1 victory over FaZe Vegas, which can be seen as a good indicator that the Heretics are much stronger than they appeared in the Minor tournament.
On the other side, FaZe are in bad shape, and one good game does not prove much. A better reason for fading Vancouver Surge is their form, as they have lost all but one game since the CDL Stage 3 Minor.
Moreover, the Surge looked toothless last week against Paris Gentle Mates, so it is fair to say they are not in the best shape.
This is Miami Heretics’ game to lose; however, aside from the upset victory over FaZe, Heretics have not shown much since the return of José “ReeaL” Fernández.
Vancouver Surge to win a map at $1.50 is a solid bet.
| Best Odds | KOI $2.75 at Stake | G2 $1.40 at Betway |

Toronto KOI have not looked like themselves since parting ways with Joseph “JoeDeceives” Romero, and not for the better.
Since the roster change, KOI have won just two games, and even those victories came against Cloud9 New York, which is nothing to write home about.
While Toronto KOI have been struggling, G2 Minnesota have been trending in the opposite direction and are fresh off a very promising week.
Last week, G2 defeated OpTic Texas 3-2 and played a very competitive game against Los Angeles Thieves.
Those results are a good indication of where the two teams stand. Barring any major surprises, G2 Minnesota should win with ease.
| Best Odds | FaZe $1.33 at Stake | Royal Ravens $3.25 at Betway |

Carolina Royal Ravens have shown some signs of life over the last week, with a 3-2 victory against OpTic Texas and a close 2-3 loss against Riyadh Falcons.
Meanwhile, FaZe Vegas ended Week 2 of CDL Major 4 Qualifiers with a 3-2 win against Paris Gentle Mates and a 1-3 loss against Miami Heretics.
After a shaky performance last week, FaZe showed more life on Friday, when they crushed Riyadh Falcons. Notably, their AR players performed much better, which has been FaZe’s main issue throughout the stage.
While there is no telling whether Jordan “Abuzah” François and Zachary “Drazah” Jordan can keep playing at this level, things are looking up for FaZe, who are desperate to build momentum heading into the Major.
Carolina Royal Ravens have been showing signs of life of late, but with FaZe rounding into form, it is hard to go against the Stage 2 Major champions.
