On Monday, June 22, EYEBALLERS announced the arrival of Freddy “KRIMZ” Johansson as a replacement for Jonatan “bobeksde” Persson.

EYEBALLERS are KRIMZ’s ninth stop of his career and the first since the Swede re-joined Fnatic in October 2016.

Over 12 years with the Black & Orange, the 32-year-old Counter-Strike 2 veteran won numerous trophies, including two Major titles at ESL One Katowice and ESL One Cologne.

However, success has been hard to come by for KRIMZ over the last half-decade, as Fnatic failed to leave a lasting mark in the upper echelons of competitive CS.

Despite the struggles, KRIMZ remained with Fnatic until earlier this month, when the Swede announced he was stepping away from the active roster.

Even though KRIMZ has moved away from the team where he spent the majority of his career, the veteran is not done competing, as he reunites with former teammate Jesper “JW” Wecksell at EYEBALLERS.

“I am incredibly excited to announce that I am joining EYEBALLERS,” said KRIMZ.

“This moment is about more than just competing, it is about going back to my roots and uniting with my fellow Swedes once again. There is a unique, undeniable chemistry when you share the server with your countrymen, and I cannot wait to bring that Swedish pride and passion back on the server!”

“The hunger is there, the nostalgia is real, and the fire is lit. Let’s make this ride one for the history books.”

By reuniting with JW, KRIMZ will play alongside the compatriot he competed with from 2014 to 2021, most notably winning two Major titles together.

While EYEBALLERS have yet to accomplish any notable success since the team’s formation, the Swedish roster have high expectations as they move into the rest of the season.

KRIMZ is expected to debut for EYEBALLERS at XSE Pro League 2026, scheduled to kick off on July 1.

There, the Swedes will face other heavyweights in PARIVISION, Monte, B8, and Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major quarterfinalists 9z Team and BetBoom Team.
