Another big week of esports kicks off on October 28, 2024, with Counter-Strike 2 taking the focus of the esports world.

The final BLAST Premier event of the 2024 season will take place in Singapore from October 30, where eight of the best CS2 teams will compete across five days of play.

The grand final of the 2024 League of Legends World Championship will be held on Saturday, November 2, at the O2 Arena in London, bringing an end to the six-week tournament.

Meanwhile, Season 24 of the DreamHack DreamLeague and the PUBG Mobile Global Championship will kick off this week.

CS2: BLAST Premier World Final

The 2024 BLAST Premier Series concludes with the BLAST Premier World Final, with the US$1,000,000 tournament set to kick off on October 30 and run through November 3 in Singapore.

After claiming the World Final last year, Team Vitality will seek to defend their crown; however, Natus Vincere is the most in-form team in the world, and they will be out to claim their third World Final title.

Esports betting sites have Natus Vincere marked as the $3.00 favourite to take out the World Final, followed by Team Vitality and G2 Esports, who are locked together on the second line of betting at $6.00.

League of Legends World Championship

The final series of LoL Worlds 2024 will feature T1 and Bilibili Gaming, who both claimed dominant victories over regional rivals Weibo Gaming and Gen.G in their respective semi-final clashes.

With star players littered throughout both rosters, it is expected that the grand final will be one of the most intriguing matches of the six-week event.

Bilibili Gaming will enter the grand final as outsiders with Betway, marked at $2.00, while the defending champions are rated as a $1.72 favourite for the grand final.

Dota 2: DreamHack DreamLeague Season 24

DreamHack DreamLeague Season 2024 kicked off on Sunday, October 27, with each of the 16 Dota tournaments teams playing their first group stage fixture of the event.

Following their triumph at the BetBoom Dacha Belgrade tournament, Team Falcons enter DreamLeague full of confidence as they seek to defend their title from Season 23 earlier this year.

However, with the likes of Tundra Esports, BetBoom Team and Gaimin Gladiators in attendance, they will be hoping to put an end to Falcons recent dominance.

PUBG Mobile Global Championship

The PUBG Mobile Global Championship will conclude the 2024 PUBG Mobile season, with the world’s top 49 teams qualifying for the US$3,000,000 event.

Kicking off on October 31, the League Stage of the tournament will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, until November 24, before the 16 grand finals squads head to London, England, for the final stage.

IHC Esports received a special invite for the Global Championship, and they will get the chance to defend their title after claiming the 2023 edition of the event in Istanbul, Turkey.
