Team Liquid have removed Polish AWPer ultimate from their active Counter-Strike 2 lineup after another difficult run of results.
Team Liquid have removed Polish AWPer ultimate from their active Counter-Strike 2 lineup after another difficult run of results.

Team Liquid announced the benching of Roland “ultimate” Tomkowiak, who was removed from the active Counter-Strike 2 roster on Thursday, July 9.
The Pole’s benching ends his two-year stay with Team Liquid, whom he joined in July 2024 as part of a major roster rebuild.
Over the two years, ultimate played 331 maps for Liquid and averaged a 1.02 rating.
While his stay with the team was not hugely successful, with just one gold medal from BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2024, ultimate helped Liquid qualify for four Majors, including the recently finished Intel Extreme Cologne Major.
ultimate’s most memorable accomplishments in Liquid’s jersey include a third-place finish at CS Asia Championships 2025, a run to the semifinals of FISSURE Playground #2, and a quarterfinals appearance at Perfect World Shanghai Major.
Even though Team Liquid have not won any notable events over the last two years, the team had been struggling before ultimate was added to the roster.
Unfortunately, the 22-year-old was unable to turn the tide for Liquid, who have now opted to explore new options in a bid to find more success in their competitive endeavours.
By stepping away from Liquid’s active roster, ultimate has been placed on the bench while he waits for his next opportunity.
Liquid was ultimate’s first entry into the upper echelons of competitive Counter-Strike, having spent his entire career before that competing in Polish teams.
More notably, ultimate joined Illuminar Gaming in March 2024, but remained with the team for just three months before he was approached by Liquid.
Team Liquid have already found a replacement for ultimate in Georgi “Jorko” Mitev, who recently spent five months on FOKUS.
The young AWPer will make his debut for Team Liquid at BLAST Bounty Summer, set to begin on July 21.
