Natus Vincere confirmed jL’s departure after his loan spells with Team Liquid and MOUZ, with his next CS2 move still unclear.

On Wednesday, July 1, Natus Vincere announced the departure of Justinas “jL” Lekavicius, who enters free agency after a three-year stay with the team.
The Lithuanian Counter-Strike 2 player joined Natus Vincere in June 2023 and spent two successful years with the team, helping NAVI win their first Major title at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.
He was part of NAVI’s roster that hoisted the Esports World Cup, ESL Pro League Season 20, and Intel Extreme Masters Rio trophies. However, despite all that success, jL was moved to the bench in July of last year.
Since his benching, jL has spent two loan spells with Team Liquid and MOUZ, with whom he placed third at PGL Astana and CS Asia Championships earlier this year.
Following the expiration of his loan to MOUZ, the European team said “goodbye for now”, with both parties leaving open the possibility of a loan extension following IEM Cologne Major.
So far, no such announcement has been made. However, MOUZ are still searching for their fifth player following Jimi “Jimpphat” Salo’s departure, making jL a possible permanent replacement.
Ranked ninth in the global rankings and sixth in the Valve Regional Standings, MOUZ recently attended IEM Cologne Major with benched Ludvig “Brollan” Brolin as their fifth player.
They have since moved the Swede back to the bench and are now searching for a new player to complete their lineup.
While some rumours tie jL with MOUZ, neither party has commented on the situation.
