League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational is set to kick off on Sunday, June 28, with the first two games of the Play-In stage, as Team Liquid take on T1 before Karmine Corp clash with Deep Cross Gaming.

The top-rated League of Legends bookmakers have T1 listed as $1.01 favourites to defeat Team Liquid in the first game of MSI 2026. This gives them a staggering 99% implied probability of success, which is a huge number, but a justifiable one.
Despite beginning their MSI campaign in the Play-Ins, T1 are among the main favourites to win the event and are arguably one of the top two teams in the world.
The reigning world champions have already proven their worth with strong showings in LoL Champions Korea, and they are known to step it up on the international stage.
Team Liquid struggled even in the domestic North American league, which makes it very hard to believe they have a realistic chance of making it to the next stage of the tournament.
Individually, Liquid are outmatched by T1 in all positions. Even though Liquid’s bottom lane is strong, even their best lane is unlikely to find much success against Kim “Peyz” Soo-hwan and Ryu “Keria” Min-seok.
The new patch will introduce some volatility, but this is T1’s game to lose.
| Best Odds | KC $1.03 at BetOnline | Deep Cross $10.00 at Betway |

Deep Cross Gaming enter Mid-Season Invitational as a bit of an enigma, having yet to feature in an international event.
The biggest question is the individual quality of some of their players and whether Deep Cross have the raw talent to challenge teams like Karmine Corp.
While there are many unknowns about Deep Cross Gaming, they are known to be a very aggressive team who are not afraid to fight and cause chaos on the Rift.
That could catch Karmine Corp off guard, but it is hardly a good enough reason to expect a full upset.
Karmine Corp are Europe’s second-best team and very close to G2 Esports quality-wise. They can have shaky moments, mainly by misplaying late-game situations, but the quality is there.
With a deep champion pool, Karmine Corp are unlikely to struggle too much in the new meta. They are rightly viewed as favourites, but from a betting perspective, Deep Cross Gaming to win a map at even money is worth a look.
Their hyper-aggressive style could be hard to deal with for Karmine Corp, who have yet to experience a team quite like them in the LEC.
