GIANTX have added former Fnatic top laner Oscarinin and Flakked ahead of the LEC 2026 Summer split as they chase better results.

GIANTX announced the signing of Óscar “Oscarinin” Muñoz Jiménez on Friday, June 26, as their new top laner for the League of Legends EMEA Championship 2026 Summer split.
By signing for GIANTX, Oscarinin is set to make his return to Europe’s top-flight LoL league for the first time since leaving Fnatic, with whom he played his last professional match at LoL Worlds 2025.
The Spanish top laner joins GIANTX as a replacement for Eren “Lot” Yıldız and is the second new arrival ahead of LEC Summer, alongside Víctor “Flakked” Lirola, who signed for GIANTX on Tuesday.
The arrival of the former Fnatic top laner marks GIANTX’s second signing ahead of the summer split, after the roster had gone unchanged since LEC Winter.
However, that approach did not lead GIANTX to many notable results, as the European squad failed to break into the top three in Europe, finishing fourth in both LEC Versus and Spring.
The ambitious choice to sign Oscarinin sees GIANTX acquire an experienced top laner and gives the Spanish player a chance to prove himself once more after a relatively disappointing stint with Fnatic.
Oscarinin joined Fnatic ahead of the 2023 season after spending one year with their academy roster, with whom he won Superliga 2022 Spring.
Across three seasons with Fnatic, Oscarinin failed to win a single trophy, settling for four runner-up finishes in the LEC.
On the international stage, the Spanish player also struggled to find major success, with three premature exits from LoL World Championships and a seventh-eighth-place finish at the 2024 Mid-Season Invitational.
His return to the LEC, however, is not surprising. Oscarinin’s name had already surfaced ahead of the 2026 season, with teams like Natus Vincere showing interest.
With no deal signed at the time, Oscarinin spent the last six months streaming and practising in solo queue.
Oscarinin is set to debut for GIANTX in the second week of LEC 2026 Summer, on August 1, when GIANTX face SK Gaming.
