What is the League of Legends Championship of the Americas?

The League of Legends Championship of the Americas will be the combination of three leagues from across the Americas region, with the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS), Campeonato Brasileiro de League of Legends (CBLOL) and Liga Latinoamérica (LLA) all merging to form the LTA. Following the end of the 2024 League of Legends season, Riot Games made the decision to merge the LCS, CBLOL and LLA leagues into one to represent the Americas region.

The LTA will be split into two regional conferences, being the LTA North for LoL sqauds based in North America and the LTA South for LoL teams based in South America. These two leagues will compete against each other in their own conference in split one, two and three before the best performing teams from each conference meets in the LTA Cross-Conference split and LTA Regional Finals.

The Cross-Conference split will determine who represents the LTA in the inaugural edition of the newest League of Legends international event, First Stand. While the Regional Finals will work similarly to the way it works in the League of Legends EME Championship (LEC), League of Legends Pro League (LPL) and League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK), where the top teams will qualify for LoL Worlds.

The 2025 League of Legends season will be the first time that the LTA will compete as a regional league, so plenty of changes are expected during the year. ESB will continue to update this LTA betting guide as new details are announced.
