Shopify Rebellion will hope they can keep their run going when they take on Group A winners Cloud9 in the lower-bracket final of the League of Legends Championship of The Americas (LTA) North 2025 Split 2 Playoffs this Saturday.

After losing to Team Liquid and FlyQuest in the third-place seeding match and upper-bracket semifinals, respectively, Shopify Rebellion have found unexpected momentum.

They crushed 100 Thieves in the lower-bracket quarterfinals and humiliated Liquid in the rematch on Sunday, winning the game in four maps.

While Shopify Rebellion have managed an impressive run in the lower bracket, their performances haven’t been high quality, which also applies to their recent victory against the LTA 2025 Cross-Conference champions.

A big takeaway from Shopify Rebellion’s games is that they like to play slowly and not risk too much. Playing slow and for scaling works out perfectly for them due to their weak early game.

This, however, could be a problem on Saturday.

Cloud9 suffered their first loss of the split last weekend, when they nearly completed a reverse sweep against FlyQuest but had to admit defeat on map five.

Despite that defeat, Cloud9 are fairly priced as favourites on the top LoL betting sites to defeat Shopify Rebellion.

Individually, Cloud9 are the superior team and their explosive early game should make it much harder for Shopify Rebellion to execute their win condition.

We have seen Shopify Rebellion perform well against 100 Thieves and Team Liquid, but it is also fair to say that 100T and TL did not play well in those meetings. Cloud9, on the other hand, are far more stable and less prone to having bad days.

The underdogs might take a map, but anything more is unlikely.
