TSM are priced as the biggest outsiders (+5000) to win LCS 2023 Summer, and that’s not surprising. TSM weren’t very competitive last season, and they’ve failed to sign any good players, so things likely won’t change.

Last month, TSM re-added top laner Kevin “Hauntzer” Yarnell to the main lineup and signed former Team Heretics mid laner Lee “Ruby” Sol-min, who hardly improves this team’s quality. Hauntzer can hold his weight but won’t be a difference-maker, whereas Ruby wasn’t a top-tier mid laner in Europe and he won’t be a star in LCS either.

Team Liquid have made no changes besides promoting Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin to the main coach position, but that might be enough for Liquid to succeed. This is a very stacked team that couldn’t find any traction last split; however, with Reignover at the helm, it’s fair to expect some improvement.

This is Team Liquid’s game to lose, and barring any surprises, they should have no issues defeating TSM. But instead of backing any team, a bet on under 22.5 kills is the better choice, knowing that Liquid won’t give up much and TSM are not good enough to force a more fast-paced game.

EVIL GENIUSES vs NRG ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: EG +150 at BetOnline | NRG -200 at BetOnline
When: June 13, 2023 | 17:00 PDT

Evil Geniuses completely rebuilt its LoL division. The team kept only mid laner Joseph “Jojopyun” Pyun from last split’s starting lineup and formed a more budget-friendly roster with top laner Mohamed “Revenge” Kaddoura, jungler Jonathan “Armao” Armao, ADC William “UNF0RGIVEN” Nieminen, and support Bill “Eyla” Nguyen joining the star mid laner.

This squad doesn’t scream potential LCS champions, but it consists of experienced players, so we wouldn’t sleep on Evil Geniuses and their chances to finish the season strong. Still, the public perception of EG is low, which explains the offered LoL betting odds, but it’s tough to justify NRG Esports priced as -200 favourites to win the game.

NRG Esports (former CLG) field a talented roster built around jungler Juan Arturo “Contractz” Garcia and ADC Ian Victor “FBI” Huang, which has the potential to achieve great things. However, this team is hardly better than Evil Geniuses.

Evil Geniuses look deceivingly weak. ADC William “UNF0RGIVEN” Nieminen alone is a considerable threat, and if EG learn how to play around him, they can compete for a strong finish. At the offered LoL esports betting odds, Evil Geniuses are an easy bet.

FLYQUEST vs 100 THIEVES LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: FQ -227.27 at BetOnline | 100T +162 at BetOnline

FlyQuest are viewed as the strongest team ahead of LCS 2023 Summer, and unsurprisingly so. FlyQuest had the most stacked roster last split, and they’ve become even scarier with the addition of support Philippe “Vulcan” Laflamme.

It’s very tough to doubt FlyQuest and what they can achieve, but we’ll remain cautiously optimistic until they show us something on the Rift. Talent alone doesn’t win you championships – as seen last split.

100 Thieves re-signed Kim “Ssumday” Chan-ho during the offseason and added former Gen.G Academy mid laner Lim “Quid” Hyeon-seung as a replacement for Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg. These roster changes might not seem like much but are huge upgrades, especially in the mid lane, which was 100T’s weakest point last split.

How good 100 Thieves will be will depend primarily on how well Quid can perform, but this is not a team we should underestimate. On paper, FlyQuest look better, but -227.27 for the opening match of the split is way too pricey. 100 Thieves at +162 is an excellent value bet.
