Esportbet brings you free LoL betting preview for the upcoming eight matches, along with expert picks and odds from the best esports bookmakers for LoL Worlds betting.
GEN.G vs INVICTUS GAMING
Gen.G are listed as $1.16 favorites on the best LoL betting sites to defeat Invictus Gaming on Friday, which is a big number for a best-of-one clash between two elite teams. On the other hand, Gen.G are the strongest Korean LoL esports squad, while Invictus Gaming have barely clawed their way to the LoL World Championship, finishing third in the summer split.
However, even though Invictus Gaming haven’t established themselves as the best team in the LoL Pro League (LPL), they have ramped up in the summer split and have looked very stable. In addition, IG field a very experienced roster with two former world champions, so while they do not appear as a serious threat to hoist the Summoner’s Cup, IG are not to be underestimated in a best-of-one game.
This is Gen.G’s game to lose, but they’ve been away from action for over a month and are up against a very capable team.
Invictus Gaming +10.5 kills
HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS vs TOP ESPORTS
Top Esports have been very volatile this season. They struggled early into the year, then secured a silver medal in LPL Split 2, failed to come close to reaching the same heights in Split 3, with a seventh-eighth place finish, before winning the Regional Finals.
The up-and-down season has largely stemmed from roster instability in the top lane, resulting in a lack of synergy and overall shaky performances. So even though this is a stacked roster with highly experienced players, Top Esports’ lack of stability won’t take them far at LoL Worlds.
Hanwha Life Esports have had their own bumps in the road this season, looking both excellent and questionable during the season. They’ve been mostly great and have proven themselves as one of the best LoL Champions Korea (LCK) teams.
The quality difference between the LPL and LCK is big enough to favor the Korean teams. This is a match between one of the weakest LPL teams and one of the strongest LCK representatives, and it can only go one way.
Hanwha Life Esports -8.5 kills
BILIBILI GAMING vs MOVISTAR KOI
Bilibili Gaming are the most successful team hailing from the LPL, having won two splits and two international events. They, however, are far from perfect, as BLG tend to rely too much on their early game and snowballing their leads – an approach that works until they come across other potent early-game teams.
While BLG’s early game is excellent, their macro is disastrous, giving Movistar KOI a clear plan of how to approach this match – keep the game close early and take advantage of Bilibili Gaming’s misplays in the mid-late game.
This, however, is easier said than done. Movistar KOI are a strong team, but extremely unreliable and more than capable of turning into a pumpkin.
One thing both teams have in common, however, is their aggressive playstyle, so we are likely in for a bloody game.
Over 30.5 kills
ANYONE’S LEGEND vs KARMINE CORP
No odds available.
Anyone’s Legend won the final LPL split, but have been otherwise very mediocre this season. So even though more recent performances carry more weight, AL’s lack of consistency throughout the first two splits is hard to ignore.
Karmine Corp are quite the opposite, as one of the most stable and reliable teams. They’ve been great this season, dominating the LEC regular season. Unfortunately, KC have yet to crack the code on how to handle G2 Esports in the playoffs, which has resulted in two silver and one bronze medal from the domestic league.
Karmine Corp are a capable team, as shown in their runner-up finish at the Esports World Cup. Even though they appear weaker on paper, they are more reliable, so it is very hard to make a good case for Anyone’s Legend at this price.
Karmine Corp +8.5 kills
G2 ESPORTS vs DPLUS KIA
G2 Esports are $2.50 underdogs to defeat Dplus KIA on Friday, which might appear as a big number for the three-time LEC champions. However, even though G2 delivered in all three regional playoffs, they’ve also been very iffy during the summer split.
In contrast, Dplus KIA looked superb during the final split of LCK, but slipped a couple of times in the playoffs and had to settle for a fourth-place finish. That placement should not fool anyone, as DK have managed to hang with the best LCK has to offer during the regular season.
G2 Esports have a very high ceiling, but they have a lot more to prove. At this number, DK to win is a solid pick.
Dplus KIA to win
TEAM LIQUID vs CTBC FLYING OYSTER
CTBC Flying Oyster is a known name after their performances in 2025, when they exceeded everyone’s expectations and left a lasting mark at LoL Worlds with a run to the quarterfinals. However, that roster is no more, as mid laner Tsai “hongQ” Ming-hong and jungler Yu “JunJia” Chun-chia both left to play in China at the end of the year.
Even though CTBC Flying Oyster were successful domestically this season, the quality of teams in the Pacific region has dropped, so their second-place finish in the summer split is hardly something to write home about.
Team Liquid are the reigning LoL Championship Series (LCS) champions and unquestionably the best team from North America. They handled both Cloud9 and LYON easily in the summer split and have been ramping up for months.
While it remains to be seen how well Team Liquid will do on the international stage, CFO have not shown enough in 2026 to believe they can put up a serious challenge.
Team Liquid -9.5 kills
LOS vs T1
T1 have had a very bad season, having failed to win a single event. Even their performances in the summer split have left a lot to be desired, as T1 showed many issues – from poor mid-to-late game, iffy individual performances, and seemingly some issues in communication.
Regardless, T1 remain an elite roster who are known to step it up on the big stage. So even though the reigning world champions have a lot to prove, there is no doubt that they should never struggle against a lower-rated team like LOS.
Expect T1 to make quick work of the Brazilian squad.
Under 27.5 kills
TEAM SECRET WHALES vs LYON
This is the most interesting team of the day, featuring LYON, who have slowed down in the summer split, and Team Secret Whales, who are the clear best team from the LCP.
Team Secret Whales are not only the strongest Pacific team, but they also field very experienced players. This core have attended all three international events this season and left a positive mark in all but the Esports World Cup – which TSW finished in 13th-16th place.
LYON dominated the LCS at the start of the year, but have looked shakier in the summer split, so the big question with this team is whether they’ll manage to stabilize in time for LoL World Championship. And even if LYON wake up, the quality difference between the LCP and LCS is not significant enough to justify taking LYON’s side at this number.
Team Secret Whales to win
