GamerLegion are listed as $9.00 underdogs on the best Dota 2 bookmakers to defeat Team Yandex on Thursday, which may seem like a massive number. However, considering GL’s form and Yandex’s accomplishments over the last few months, it is a fair assessment.

Team Yandex are the leading favorites to win the tournament and secure their third consecutive trophy, after dominating PGL Wallachia Season 9 and BLAST SLAM VIII. GamerLegion were present in both events but didn’t come close to Yandex’s heights, struggling to get past even some weaker teams.

GamerLegion will need to pull a rabbit out of the hat to win on Thursday. Barring any major surprises, this should end in a quick sweep.

The second match of the day is expected to be just as one-sided as the first, as Team Spirit face off against a stack, LEGION.

LEGION are the only team that did not receive a direct invite to the tournament, having had to fight through the qualifiers. It was their first event together, so there is not much film on this roster. However, LEGION looked solid at the start of October, and with the players they have, this stack might have some unexplored potential.

It is hard going against Team Spirit in the form they’re in. But from a betting perspective, LEGION are appealing outsiders with potential to turn heads at PARI Universe.

Team Spirit are also no strangers to dropping random maps, which makes LEGION to win a map at $3.00 an even more inviting pick.

TEAM LIQUID vs 1W TEAM

No odds available.

Team Liquid will debut a new mid laner, Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, on Thursday, which puts a big question mark over them. However, while any roster change can either work or fail, the 2025 The International champion is a massive addition to this roster and is viewed by many as a player who will help elevate Liquid to new heights.

But even though Team Liquid are a bit of an enigma, it is still hard to make a solid case for 1w Team, who have been very underwhelming over the last two months. Despite all the quality on this roster, 1w Team do not seem to be able to make it stick, as they’ve been inefficient in dealing with tier-one teams.

Until something shifts, 1w Team are a team to fade, especially given how high the expectations are for this roster.

PARIVISION are firm favorites to win their first game of PARI Universe and start the chase for their fifth tournament title of the year. While it is hard to doubt PARIVISION after their runner-up finish at TI and third-place at BLAST SLAM VIII, Astra Invicta also deserve some respect.

As a stack, Astra do not have many games under their belts and are unproven heading into PARI Universe. However, this is a very stacked roster, with highly experienced and talented players who, if they manage to work as a unit, could become a serious dark horse.

PARIVISION should win, but Astra Invicta are a very inviting outsider pick to upset PARIVISION.
