Talon Esports have announced a partnership deal with M88 Mansion, making the betting site the main title sponsor for their Dota 2 team.

The partnership will see the branding of the Dota 2 team feature M88 Mansion across all players’ kits, the in-game player names, and on social media, with the hope of expanding the awareness and reach of both parties locally and otherwise.

Speaking on the partnership was the CEO of Talon Esports, Sean Zhang, who talked about the importance of building the right ecosystem for the team to strive. He also expressed his excitement about the partnership and the great deal of trust M88 has shown in the esports organization. He stated that both entities share the same objectives and one of which is geared towards providing a “new standard for gaming excellence” in Southeast Asia.

“We’ve just began our journey in Dota 2 and it’s vitally important to build the right ecosystem to support our ambitions – which is why we’re incredibly excited for M88 Mansion to place their confidence in our organisation’s vision,” Zhang said.

“We both mutually share the same goal in setting a new standard for gaming excellence in SEA but also to really service our fans and the wider gaming community by providing fun, memorable experiences that they will cherish.”

M88 Mansion’s Head of Business Development, Alan Wafer, echoed the shared values that exist between both entities and revealed their goal of growing esports even on a worldwide scale.

“We’re excited to partner with Talon and become the title partner for their Dota 2 team,” he said.

“We share the same values and aspirations for esports and its growth not only in the SEA region but worldwide. We are keen to grow together and engage with such a passionate audience.”

M88 Mansion joins a long list of Talon Esports partners which already includes KFC, Yesports (NFT marketplace), Logitech G, and SteelSeries.

Talon Esports’ Dota 2 team was formulated at the end of the previous year, having already secured entry to Division 1 of Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) Southeast Asia 2021-2022.
