After hitting both of our League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) 2021 Summer picks for last Thursday, Esportbet returns with another set of LoL betting predictions for this week’s action. Here are our best bets for DWG KIA vs Fredit BRION and Hanwha Life Esports vs Liiv SANDBOX.

DWG KIA vs FREDIT BRION LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: DWG -344.83 at BetOnline | BRION +270 at BetOnline

DWG KIA are slowly rounding into form, but they’re still nowhere near the level we saw in 2020. Nevertheless, the reigning LoL world champions are working on their flaws and seem ready to enter the LCK 2021 Summer playoffs in the right shape to compete for the title. DWG secured a ticket for the playoffs with their 2-0 win over KT Rolsters last Sunday, but they still have a chance to improve their seeding and grab a direct bye into the semi-finals.

Fredit BRION are still a chance to make the playoffs, but their fate isn’t entirely in their hands since they need teams ahead of them to drop games. Regardless of their situation, we expect BRION to throw everything they have at DWG KIA. Fredit BRION have done well against other LCK top dogs in recent weeks, forcing Nongshim RedForce and T1 to three maps (1-2), which leads us to believe that they can cause some damage on Thursday.

LIIV SANDBOX vs HANWHA LIFE ESPORTS LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

LoL Betting Odds: SANDBOX -144.93 at BetOnline | HLE +120 at BetOnline
When: August 5, 2021 at 20:00 KST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Liiv SANDBOX have been playing very well across the last two weeks, beating the likes of Gen.G (2.1), T1 (2-1), and Nongshim RedForce (2-1). After a rocky start to the split, Yoo “FATE” Su-hyeok and co. are finally proving that they are actually a good team.

Hanwha Life Esports, despite their improvement, are not. They continue to struggle with the same issue that has prevented them from achieving much this term: the lack of impact their players, outside of Jeong “Chovy” Ji-hoon, can have. HLE still have some solid players on the roster, but that very rarely shows.

HLE can have their moments, but it’s tough to justify a bet on them unless we’re offered very good LoL betting odds – and the +120 doesn’t cut it. This is a very cheap price on Liiv SANDBOX, who are better and more consistent than HLE. A smaller play on SANDBOX with a -1.5 map handicap is also worth considering.
