TEAM SOLOMID VS COUNTER LOGIC GAMING LCS SUMMER SPLIT BETTING PREVIEW
Team SoloMid and Counter Logic Gaming will renew hostilities in the second week of the 2020 League of Legends Championship Series (LCS) Spring Split. Although TSM have dominated their old rivals in recent times, the teams’ poor start to the season and the never-dying hatred between the two organizations is bound to turn this clash into a must-watch affair.
Team SoloMid started their 2020 LCS Spring Split with two devastating defeats against Immortals and Team Liquid. While upset defeats in the opening weeks of the season are nothing unusual, the performance against Immortals was plain disastrous. While TSM were more convincing against Team Liquid, they still failed to impress.
The main problem with this team is a lack of proactive play. It seems like TSM are not prepared to take any risks and would rather wait out for their chances to be handed to them, which won’t do them any favours in this fast-paced meta.
It is worth noting, however, that Team SoloMid have a new roster, meaning there is a serious possibility they are still working on their tactics and synergy. But with so much individual talent on the team, they are capable of much more than what they have shown.
If Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg can find his old form and if the bottom lane tandem of Vincent “Biofrost” Wang and Kasper “Kobbe” Kobberup start to synergize, TSM could become a force to be reckoned with. It may take a while for that to happen, but once it does, TSM will be a team to watch.
Counter Logic Gaming are one of the biggest disappointments of 2020 season so far. It might be too early to tell where they are heading, but the early signs are not promising.
On day one, CLG were torn apart by Dignitas in just over 40 minutes. They suffered a similar fate the following day against FlyQuest, who defeated Raymond “Wiggily” Griffin and his squad in 31 minutes with the score showing 19-5.
While losing to talented teams such as FlyQuest and Dignitas is not all too concerning, Counter Logic’s defeat to 100 Thieves earlier this week is a big worry. CLG were favourites on paper, but poor team fighting, complete lack of organization and almost non-existent macro play sent them to their third loss of the season.
TEAM SOLOMID VS COUNTER LOGIC GAMING LCS SPRING SPLIT BETTING PREDICTIONS
While the generous odds on Counter Logic Gaming are very tempting, we cannot find a reason to believe they can win here.
Team SoloMid had their iffy moments on day one where they looked like a B-Tier team, but you can’t underestimate a team which fields Bjergsen, Biofrost and Kobbe.
TSM are yet to unlock their full potential, so don’t expect them to stomp CLG into the dirt, but their individual quality alone should be enough to secure a win in this match.
