Kwangdong Freecs are coming off their second win in their last six series, with their 2-0 victory over the struggling SANDBOX Gaming improving their record to 4-4 for the split. The Freecs have struggled to defeat teams that sit above them in the standings, with their losses coming at the hands of Gen.G, KT Rolster, T1 and Hanwha Life Esports. With a win over Dplus KIA, the Freecs will jump into the top four in the LCK Summer 2023 standings.

Dplus KIA began the split by winning three of their first four series; however, their form has dipped since and they have only won one of their last four matches. Dplus defeated Kwangdong Freecs in both of their meetings during LCK Spring 2023, so they will be looking to return to winning ways against a team they have had the wood over in the past. Just like their opponents in this match, they can maintain their spot inside the top four with a win on Wednesday.

With both teams coming into this match off the back of some underwhelming performances, expect to see a tight series that goes the distance.

DRX vs T1 LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: DRX +800 at BetOnline | Freecs -2500 at BetOnline
When: July 5, 2023 | 19:30 KST

DRX are every chance to finish in the bottom two or three this split, as they are going through a rebuild after losing much of their roster from the 2022 season. Through eight matches, DRX have beaten only Nongshim RedForce and SANDBOX Gaming, with both of those wins coming in the last two weeks.

T1 have shown they are still one of the better teams in the LCK, as they currently sit inside the top three with a 6-2 record. Although it was reported over the weekend that T1 star Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok is battling an arm injury, the rest of the team have lifted to grind out the wins needed to stay in touch with the top two sides – Gen.G and KT Rolster.

With or without Faker, T1 should do enough get the job done and improve their record to 7-2. These are both are high-kill teams, coming off three-map series where 77 and 51 kills were amassed, so we will be taking the overs in the total kills market with BetOnline.
