Team Secret are 1-1 ahead of their clash with T1, with a 1-2 defeat against VARREL and a 2-0 sweep of DRX.
T1 ended the first week of play with a promising win over Paper Rex, but then turned into a pumpkin against VARREL on Thursday and lost 0-2.
Team Secret are viewed as one of the weaker teams in VCT Pacific, while T1 are considered serious title contenders. However, form-wise, Secret appear to be in better shape.
T1’s loss to VARREL might not mean much in the bigger picture, but it does highlight just how inconsistent T1 can be.
If Team Secret can perform as well as they did against DRX, they should be good for at least one map.
