GIANTX were not considered one of the main title contenders ahead of VCT EMEA Stage 1, and three weeks in, they have done little to change that view. A 2-1 record gives them a decent platform for a playoff push, but neither of their wins was especially convincing.
They dropped a map to PCIFIC Esports in Week 2 and looked shaky again in their recent victory over BBL Esports. That is not the kind of form you want heading into a match against one of the league’s most polished lineups.
Fnatic, by contrast, are unbeaten at 3-0 after wins over Eternal Fire, Team Vitality, and PCIFIC Esports. They have not been flawless, but they have been excellent at closing maps once they get control, which is usually a strong sign early in the stage.
Fnatic do not look fully maxed out yet, but they are very comfortable in the current meta and their stars are in excellent shape. Kajetan “kaajak” Haremski and Emir “Alfajer” Beder have both been standout performers, and that gives Fnatic a clear edge here. The +120 line on the best VALORANT bookmakers for Fnatic to sweep looks very appealing.

Karmine Corp are 0-3 through the opening three weeks of VCT EMEA Stage 1 and have shown very little to suggest a turnaround is close. Losses to Team Liquid and Gentle Mates were at least understandable on paper, but the defeat to Team Heretics was a real low point.
It is difficult to make an optimistic case for KC right now. They have not looked settled, they have not looked dangerous, and most importantly, they have not shown much sign of upward momentum.
FUT Esports are heading in the opposite direction. They have quietly turned into one of the strongest teams in the league, putting together quality wins over Gentle Mates, Natus Vincere, and Team Liquid. Their recent result against Liquid, in particular, was the kind of performance that puts the rest of the league on notice.
FUT look comfortable in the current meta, they have good structure, and they are finally starting to convert solid positions into clean wins. Given the gap in form between these teams, this is a very good spot for FUT to hand Karmine Corp a fourth straight loss. At +175, the map handicap is the best way in.
