100 Thieves and G2 Esports know each other very well, having faced each other three times this season, most recently in the first week of VALORANT Champions Tour 2026 Americas Stage 2, when 100 Thieves won 2-1. The previous two meetings in May and January ended in G2’s favour.

100T have taken G2’s throne as VCT Americas’ best team this split, showing much better form, especially in Stage 2. However, G2 Esports have been in strong form at VALORANT Champions, finishing Group C in second place with wins against TYLOO and Team Liquid, and a very competitive 1-2 loss against Paper Rex.

Their aggressive style of play combined with great team play makes 100T one of the main contenders to make a run for the trophy in China. This style is also something G2 Esports have typically struggled with. However, style-wise, 100 Thieves are Paper Rex lite, and G2 showed they can respond to higher-tempo teams during the group stage.

100 Thieves were the better team in Stage 2 and deserve to be viewed as favorites. But this number is too low. G2 Esports at +225 on the best VALORANT bookmakers is a no-brainer pick.

Team VitalityNongshim RedForce

Team Vitality won Group B with wins against Global Esports and LOUD, while Nongshim RedForce finished Group D in second with a loss against NRG and two wins against XLG Esports and Karmine Corp.

Team Vitality looked very good during the group stage, relying on their brawly playstyle to outshoot their opponents. That even worked against LOUD, who are known for their firepower, which is impressive. However, the same approach will not work against Nongshim RedForce, who are very experienced in facing firepower-reliant squads, after spending the season competing in the Pacific region.

Nongshim RedForce can be a bit hot-and-cold, so they need to be on their best game to do well on Thursday. While there are no guarantees that will happen, RedForce have shown higher highs this season and have the tools to deal with teams like Vitality.
