Tundra Esports solidified their position as the premier Dota 2 team in the world with a commanding 3-0 victory over Gaimin Gladiators in the BLAST Slam II grand finals on Monday, February 10.

This dominant win marks Tundra’s second consecutive championship in 2025, following their triumph at FISSURE PLAYGROUND Belgrade just a week prior.

Since adding Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov and Bozhidar “bzm” Bogdanov to their roster, Tundra has been unstoppable, racking up consecutive titles and showcasing flawless team coordination.

Their victory at BLAST Slam II extends their winning streak against Gaimin Gladiators to 10 straight games, with nine of those victories coming after dyrachyo’s transfer from Gaimin Gladiators, the very team that released him.

Tundra claimed the tournament’s US$300,000 grand prize, along with an additional US$100,000 in team earnings from the event’s US$1 million prize pool.

Gaimin Gladiators, despite falling short in the finals, secured US$200,000 as the tournament runners-up, marking their best finish of the year after struggling with roster adjustments, including replacing Dyrachyo with Alimzhan “Watson” Islambekov.

Both Tundra and Gaimin Gladiators topped their groups with 3-1 records, earning direct berths to the semifinals.

Tundra advanced to the grand final after dispatching a surging Nigma Galaxy in three games, while Gaimin Gladiators secured their spot with a convincing sweep over Team Falcons.

In the grand final, Tundra showcased their tactical prowess and individual brilliance, with bzm delivering a series of MVP-worthy performances.

Each game was wrapped up in under 40 minutes, highlighting Tundra’s dominance.

After the match, bzm humbly downplayed his dominance, joking, “They just need to ban my Invoker and Bristleback, and I’m done.”

Meanwhile, Neta “33” Shapira highlighted the team’s broader ambitions: “I always wanted to not just win one big tournament, then go back to being average.

“I looked up to teams that could win four, five, six tournaments in a row and be consistent. That’s the aim this year.”

With two back-to-back titles under their belt, Tundra Esports is off to a phenomenal start in 2025.

Their next challenge awaits at DreamLeague Season 25, kicking off on February 16.

If their current form is any indication, Tundra is well on their way to a historic season.
