Danish esports tournament organiser BLAST will host their inaugural Dota 2 event in Copenhagen, Denmark, the BLAST Slam. BLAST announced nine tournaments that are set to take place from 2024-2026, with the first of those set to take place from November 26-December 1, which will be named BLAST Slam I.

Dota 2 BLAST Slam 2025 Format
The Dota 2 BLAST Slam format will follow a similar tournament schedule to most esports events, which will include two stages: Group Stage and Playoffs.

- Two round-robin groups of five teams each
- All matches are best-of-one series
- Teams will be seeded to the playoffs according to their placement
- 1st placed teams are seeded to semi-finals
- 2nd placed teams are seeded to quarter-finals
- 3rd placed teams are seeded to Round 2
- 4th and 5th placed teams are seeded to Round 1
