Team Liquid entered PGL Wallachia Season 4 as one of the outsiders, priced at +700 on the best Dota 2 betting sites, and they hardly shook off that tag in the group stage.

The defending champions started their campaign with a couple of shaky showings, including a 0-2 loss to Team Falcons and a closely contested 2-1 victory against Xtreme Gaming.
After making it through the Swiss Stage, Team Liquid turned on their jets and defeated Tundra Esports and the tournament favourites, Team Spirit, but had to admit defeat to ESL One Raleigh 2025 champions PARIVISION in the upper-bracket finals.
After defeating Tundra Esports for the second time in the lower-bracket final, Michael “miCKe” Vu and co. had a chance to get revenge against the Russian outfit, and they delivered.
However, success in the PGL Wallachia Season 4 grand final did not come easy.
Team Liquid took a commanding 2-0 lead before dropping the next two and getting dragged into map five.
Playing on red on the decisive map, Michal “Nisha” Jankowski starred with 22 of 42 kills in a drawn-out 72-minute map as Liquid secured their second Tier 1 trophy in Dota 2 esports.
For their accomplishment, Team Liquid pocketed US$300,000 from a total prize pool of $1 million.
PARIVISION, on the other side, were sent home with a $175,000 consolation prize after being denied their second big-event trophy of 2025.
As the dust settles on PGL Wallachia Season 4, the top Dota 2 esports teams are already getting ready for the next competitive endeavour: BLAST Slam III.
The third iteration of BLAST Slam is scheduled to kick off on May 5, featuring 10 Dota 2 teams and a $1 million prize pool.
