The first LAN tournament of 2023 to take place in India, Esportz Premier Series Valorant, has concluded after a grueling grand finale between Revenant Esports and Lethal Esports.

Both teams were more than prepared for the best-of-five grand finale which was played in front of a live audience at the OPAL Convention Center in Borivali, Mumbai.

The competition, which had been running for a year and featured multiple competitive titles, saw six teams qualify for the main event through four qualifiers held in the preceding months. Lethal Esports and Revenant Esports were the first two teams to qualify and were given a head start, advancing directly to the semifinals. Both teams ultimately made it to the grand finale, setting up a highly-anticipated match.

The grand finale did not disappoint, with the series going down to the wire and being decided on the final map. Lethal Esports started off strong, winning their map pick Pearl in overtime with a 14-12 score.

However, Revenant Esports fought back on the next map, delivering a decisive 13-7 victory. They continued their momentum on Haven, securing another 13-9 win and taking the lead in the series.

Despite being on the brink of elimination, Lethal Esports managed to stay alive with a 13-11 victory on Ascent. The match then moved to the final map, Breeze, where Revenant Esports found the extra strength they needed to push ahead and secure a 13-10 victory. With a final score of 3-2, Revenant Esports was crowned the champion of the Esportz Premier Series Valorant and took home INR 2,50,000 in prize money.

Revenant took to their Twitter page to express their excitement, reflect on their journey to the championship title across eight maps and celebrate their win with their ever-growing fanbase.

“After playing 8 consecutive maps and beating 2 different teams, our uncrowned Kings finally had their coronation. The wolves are now Champions,” the franchise tweeted.

The grand finale was a treat for both the live audience and those watching online, with both teams putting on a highly skilled and exciting performance. Revenant Esports’ victory is a testament to their dedication and hard work, and they will no doubt be a force to be reckoned with in future tournaments.
