On Thursday, September 17, PARIVISION announced the arrival of Abay “HObbit” Khassenov, who joins the Russian Counter-Strike 2 team as a replacement for Vyacheslav “slaxejezzz” Vinokurov.

With the announcement, slaxejezzz has been moved to the bench, ending the 18-year-old’s three-month stint with the team.

Slaxejezzz joined PARIVISION in June as a replacement for Emil “nota” Moskvitin, who has since left to play for CYBERSHOKE as a loanee.

PARIVISION was slaxejezzz’s first big stop of his career, which started in December 2024 with Hesta. He has since represented QWENTRY and PsychoFace.

Across his previous three stints, slaxejezzz averaged above a 1.00 performance rating, with 1.25 and 1.23 at QWENTRY and PsychoFace; however, his individual performances at PARIVISION were not as noteworthy.

Across 26 maps played for PARIVISION, slaxejezzz averaged a 0.98 performance rating.

In the announcement of slaxejezzz’s benching, it was emphasised that PARIVISION have no intention of selling the 18-year-old.

Instead, he will remain a part of the team and will be available for a loan.

To fill in the gap left behind by slaxejezzz, PARIVISION signed HObbit, who joins the team after a short stand-in period in June-July.

During his stay at PARIVISION, HObbit helped the team secure a silver medal at XSE Pro League, where PARIVISION lost the grand final 0-3 against 9z Team.

The roster change follows a rough stretch for PARIVISION, who have won just one tournament this season.

They claimed the BLAST Bounty Winter trophy in January and have since reached the top four three more times, at PGL Cluj-Napoca, BLAST Open Spring, and XSE Pro League.

Besides the occasional glimpses of greatness, however, PARIVISION have been struggling to find much success, often crashing out of bigger events in the earlier stages.

With HObbit’s arrival, the team’s average age has jumped to 25.2, as they count on veteran players, including Evgeniy “FL1T” Lebedev and Dzhami “Jame” Ali, to lead the team to their second trophy of 2026.

PARIVISION will debut their new-look roster at the start of October, at ESL Pro League Season 24.

The tournament is scheduled to begin on October 3.
