Galaxy Racer are expected to dominate hREDS, which may seem fair, but we don’t believe the affair will be as one-sided as the latest CS:GO betting odds suggest. The Finns enter their opening match of Malta Vibes Knockout Series #2 with a 5-2 record from their last seven outings, which isn’t that bad, even though they haven’t faced any high-profile teams.

Their only two losses over that stretch came against AVEZ (3-16) and Illuminar Gaming (9-16), which isn’t great; however, hREDS did well enough to pick up wins against TEAM SKUAK (16-14), Lyngby Vikings (16-10), GORILLAZ (16-14), AIRLYA (16-8), and FATE (16-12).

Galaxy Racer are 2-5 in their last seven outings, with losses against GORILLAZ (9-16), Dignitas (0-2), Team Finest (6-16), Save’s eSports (14-16), and AGO (20-22). Even though Galaxy Racer had to face stronger opponents, their results are all over the place and suggest that Joakim “disco doplan” Gidetun and co. aren’t very consistent.

Galaxy Racer should win, but it’s hard to make a case for them at -476.19 based on what we have seen from them this month. There is a world where Galaxy Racer sweep hREDS (-129.87), but there’s an equal chance that they drop a map.

MOUZ NXT vs D13 CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

CS:GO Betting Odds: NXT -1666.67 at BetOnline | D13 +659 at BetOnline

Mouz NXT are priced as huge betting favourites for this bout because D13 are terrible and not necessarily because mouz NXT are that good. Even though they won WePlay Academy League Season 1 at the end of August, this is still an academy team.

The Mongolians are 4-3 from their last seven outings. That run includes a 16-10 win against x6tence and a 7-16 loss to MAD Lions, as the only two fixtures against solid teams – the remaining five outings were all against semi-pro squads.

D13 are not very good, and we don’t expect them to do well against mouz NXT, who should be able to pick up an easy win despite their lack of experience. A wager on maps ending in under 25.5 rounds seems like the best bet, since we don’t expect D13 to get even close to double digits.

TEAM FINEST vs NATUS VINCERE JUNIOR CS:GO BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

CS:GO Betting Odds: Finest -204.08 at BetOnline | NaVi Jr +149 at BetOnline

Team Finest have done well of late, although they haven’t faced any notable squads. Regardless, the Finest should feel confident about their chances against the young Natus Vincere Junior roster, who have recently finished WePlay Academy League Season 1 in fifth place. Still, we don’t believe NaVi Jr should be underestimated, especially if Team Finest fail to stop NaVi’s AWPer, Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov.

The 16-year-old has been phenomenal at the WePlay Academy League, where he has recorded a 1.64 overall rating and secured a few +2.00s. In contrast, the second-best player at the tournament was Fnatic Rising’s Iulian “regali” Harjău at 1.25.

Team Finest should win in straight maps, but they’re not consistent enough for us to trust them with a map handicap. Instead, we like Natus Vincere Junior, who have some solid pieces, excellent coaching staff, and are a team that can cause some damage at this level of play. Expect a close series.
