LNG Esports entered LPL Split 2 as the clear best team in Group Nirvana. They have the most stacked roster in the group and already showed in Split 1 that they can post strong results against teams of a similar level.
Their run through Split 2 has not been flawless, but the eye test still points in the right direction. LNG have stronger lanes than most Group Nirvana teams, and when they build leads, they usually do a good job of closing games out.
The main issue has been overconfidence. LNG have had a habit of approaching some games a little too casually, and that has cost them a few maps along the way. With Group Nirvana’s top seed on the line, though, this is the kind of spot where they should tighten things up.
LGD Gaming have matched LNG’s 3-1 record this stage, but that number needs some context. They have had a few fortunate moments across the split, and their record probably flatters them a little compared to their actual level.
LNG are the better team, have the higher ceiling, and should be much more focused with first place in the group at stake. The map handicap is the standout play.

Weibo Gaming and JD Gaming have both had volatile moments this split, but they are not trending in the same direction. WBG remain one of the more two-faced teams in the league, while JD Gaming have started to look much more stable over the last few weeks.
The biggest improvement for JDG has come in the early game. They have cleaned up a lot of the issues that hurt them earlier in the split and now sit as one of the league’s most efficient early-game teams, with a +1139 gold difference at 15 minutes.
Weibo Gaming, by comparison, are much less convincing in the same area, sitting at just +116 GD@15. That gap matters in this matchup, especially with JDG doing a better job of turning early advantages into controlled wins.
It is not only Weibo’s early game that raises concerns. Their macro and decision-making have also been shaky, and those issues have led to too many late-game collapses across the split.
As the odds on the top LoL bookmakers suggest, JD Gaming are the superior team. With better early-game numbers, cleaner structure, and more stability, they look well placed to win this series in straight maps.
