EDward Gaming fought their way through the Knights Rivals by eliminating Ninjas in Pyjamas, becoming one of three Group Nirvana teams to qualify for the playoffs.
They played a competitive game against a capable squad, but it was not exactly a clean showing. EDG made too many errors to deserve full praise, and while NiP were unable to punish those mistakes efficiently, Anyone’s Legend are unlikely to be as forgiving.
This is a matchup between a decent lower-division team and one of the strongest Group Ascend squads. Even though Knights Rivals produced several upsets, the quality gap between the remaining Nirvana teams and the directly invited Ascend sides should be much clearer in the playoffs.
Anyone’s Legend have more firepower, a higher ceiling, and enough structure to punish the kind of mistakes EDward Gaming made in the previous round.
EDG deserve credit for getting this far, but this is a major step up. Anyone’s Legend should be able to control the series and win it comfortably.

Like the first game of the day, the clash between Bilibili Gaming and Team WE is expected to be very one-sided. There is not much mystery here, as both teams played in Group Ascend, where Team WE showed they were not at the level of the rest of the field.
That is especially true when compared to Bilibili Gaming, who dominated the regular season and enter the playoffs as one of the clear title threats.
Priced as heavy underdogs on the best LoL bookmakers, Team WE are being given very little chance of defeating BLG. That is fair, considering Bilibili Gaming beat them twice in April, both times with 2-0 sweeps.
Bilibili Gaming had a small throw on the first map in one of those meetings, but Team WE could not do enough damage. The second map was closer before BLG eventually found traction, although that came during a period when Bilibili Gaming’s early game was weaker than it is now.
BLG have improved significantly in that area and now boast a +855 gold difference at 15 minutes. That is bad news for a Team WE side that was the weakest team of the regular season and has not shown enough improvement ahead of the playoffs.
Anything short of a clean Bilibili Gaming win would be a surprise. BLG should be able to cover the map handicap.
