Dplus KIA have had an explosive start to the split. They defeated Hanwha Life Esports and Gen.G in the first week, but could not make it past T1 on Thursday, losing 0-2.

Despite the defeat, DK have shown they have the tools to hang with LCK’s top dogs, and they seem to be finally approaching their final form.

Even now, Dplus KIA are playing the best they have all year, and until they turn back into a pumpkin, as they tend to, Heo “ShowMaker” Su and his crew should be considered one of Korea’s elite.

KT Rolster have not disappointed either early into the split. They bested T1 on the opening day and added a 2-1 victory against Hanwha Life Esports at the end of the opening week.

However, despite the promising start, KT got stomped into the ground by Gen.G on Friday in one of the most one-sided games of the season.

KT are one of the more unpredictable teams in the league, capable of very high highs and low lows.

This makes them an inviting outsider to bet on, but there is no denying that they are a tier below Dplus KIA, who are slowly rounding into form.

BNK FEARX started LCK Rounds 3-4 with a win against DN SOOPers and have since lost against Nongshim RedForce and HAJIN BRION.

Kiwoom DRX have had a more successful start, losing to RedForce on day one, and beating HAJIN BRION and DN SOOPers in the next two outings.

BNK FEARX and Kiwoom DRX belong in Rise Group, where no team is significantly stronger than any other.

Besides DN SOOPers, who are the clear wooden spoon candidates, there is not much to separate the other four squads quality-wise.

BNK FEARX arguably have the highest ceiling, fielding solid individual players. However, their macro is terrible, and this is the main reason why BFX should not be trusted as favourites.

Considering the team’s form ahead of Sunday’s clash, this match should be viewed as 50/50, making KRX a solid bet at plus money.
