TYLOO are hunting their third consecutive head-to-head victory against ViCi Gaming after they stomped their rivals in October during Intel Extreme Masters XVI Fall Asia with 2-0 and 3-0. The games were very one-sided, as ViCi could only manage double digits on one map across the two series, and based on the offered CS:GO betting odds, we could be in for another quick 2-0.
After winning IEM Fall Asia, TYLOO travelled to Europe to attend a few tournaments, including PGL Major Stockholm 2021, but their efforts to bring home a title were in vain. Regardless, TYLOO’s lack of success against significantly stronger opposition hardly indicates that they are in bad shape.

Team NKT and Checkmate last clashed on October 13 during Funspark ULTI 2021: Asia Season 3, when Checkmate won 2-0, with 16-14 on Nuke and 16-12 on Vertigo. It marked their second meeting of the month after NKT defeated Checkmate (2-0) with 22-19 on Dust II and 16-5 on Nuke five days prior during IEM Fall 2021 Asia.
So not only are the teams tied at 1-1 in the head-to-head, but both of their last two meetings were very close. Still, the esports bookmakers have priced Checkmate as the favourites, likely due to their strong form (5-1) and the fact that NKT have played only two games since their defeat against Checkmate in October.
While you could argue that Checkmate are the most likely victors, that doesn’t justify a bet on them at the offered CS:GO betting odds. At -142.86 or better, we would side with Checkmate, but there’s far more value with Team NKT at +177.
