Gen.G face KT Rolster in the LCK 2026 Season Playoffs on September 1, with KT backed to take a map as underdogs.

LCK betting predictions

KT Rolster will take on Gen.G on Tuesday, September 1, in the second round of League of Legends Champions Korea 2026 Season Playoffs, in what appears to be a very demanding task for Gwak “Bdd” Bo-sung and his men.

The best LoL bookmakers have KT Rolster listed as +364 underdogs for the upcoming clash, giving them a mere 20% implied probability of beating the surging Gen.G, which, considering Gen.G’s form, might not sound too wrong.

However, this is still a clash between two elite rosters.

KT Rolster kicked off their playoff campaign with a commanding 3-0 sweep of Dplus KIA, thus continuing their run of solid performances.

Even though KT entered the match on a six-game losing streak, they have shown good things over that stretch, taking maps off Hanwha Life Esports, T1, and Gen.G, all in the final two weeks of group play.

The 1-2 loss against Gen.G in the final week of the regular season was an interesting one, as KT arguably should have won.

They, however, lived up to their name and played a rollercoaster of a game, losing a few key moments and ultimately the series.

Gen.G have been very good for the most part of the split, going 5-3, with a 5-1 run over the final three weeks.

The sole loss came against Dplus KIA on the penultimate day of group play.

They won the first map largely thanks to excellent neutral objective control. On the final two maps, Gen.G slipped in the mid-late game, which is becoming a worrying trend.

Gen.G have looked more polished and less volatile than KT Rolster this split, but KT pushed them to their limits in the last outing, and Gen.G have started to show some cracks since.

This is a match between two tier-one teams, where even the smallest of errors do not go unpunished, and both squads have had plenty of them of late.

At -188.68 to take at least one map, KT Rolster are hard to pass on.

Gen.G have had some weird situations in the mid-late game in the last few matches, and unless they find a way to improve in that area on such short notice, KT should be in a fine spot to take one bite out of them.
