FURIA defeat Nemiga Gaming in a thrilling best-of-five final to win PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 and claim their second consecutive trophy.

FURIA won PGL Masters Bucharest on Saturday, October 31, after beating Nemiga Gaming in a nail-biting best-of-five grand final.
FURIA, who entered PGL Masters Bucharest as one of the dark horses to make a run for the trophy, have delivered, though their road to the top was a bumpy one.
FURIA kicked off the tournament with a 1-2 start in the group stage, beating DENDELE CS and losing to Natus Vincere and Team Spirit. However, with their backs against the wall, FURIA stepped up and defeated TYLOO and Team Liquid to lock their spot in the final eight.
The playoffs presented FURIA with a tough draw, as their knockout stage campaign started with a clash against the surging BetBoom Team. However, the Russian squad proved no match for FURIA and lost 0-2, giving FURIA the momentum they needed to upset MOUZ in the semifinals.
In the grand final, FURIA faced Nemiga Gaming, who were the biggest surprise of the tournament, reaching the big stage as one of the complete outsiders on the outright markets. However, despite the underdog tag, Nemiga gave FURIA a run for their money.
The series started on Ancient, where FURIA felt what Nemiga are capable of, losing the map 2-13. Despite their disastrous performance, Mareks “YEKINDAR” Gaļinskis left a positive mark, posting a 1.57 performance rating – which would be a sign of what is to come from the Latvian player.
FURIA struck back on Dust2, winning 13-5, with YEKINDAR once again shining the brightest, posting a 1.97 rating.
After finding momentum on Dust2, FURIA kept their wheels spinning and secured another dominant win on Cache with 13-2, handing Nemiga another tough blow.
Mirage seemed set to follow the trend of one-sided stomps, with Nemiga running away with a 9-3 lead on CT-Side. However, FURIA refused to give in and closed the gap to 10-10, before losing three of the final remaining rounds and the map with 11-13.
The decider, Nuke, was a close contest for the first half, with FURIA switching sides with a 7-5 lead. However, this time, they did not let go of the advantage and secured six of the remaining seven rounds to close out the map with 13-6.
YEKINDAR walked away from the finals as the MVP, posting an average performance rating of 1.56, far above the second-highest player, Beksūltan “khaN” Ospan at 1.18, and the second-highest-rated player on FURIA, Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato at 1.15.
By winning PGL Masters Bucharest, FURIA have secured their second consecutive trophy, following their title run at the Thunderpick World Championship earlier in the month.
FURIA are now getting ready for their next competitive endeavor, the Intel Extreme Masters Beijing, set to begin on Monday, November 2.
