Team Falcons enter ESL Pro League Season 24 with a point to prove, mainly that their Major title run was not a fluke. Falcons’ performances in the last two months would certainly suggest so, as they have not won a single title since June, with a top-four finish at BLAST Open Fall marking their best tournament placement since.
However, as unconvincing as Falcons have been, it is fair to see the top CS2 bookmakers listing them as -181.82 favorites against TYLOO, who are among the weaker teams in the event. TYLOO are a powerhouse in the Asian region, but they’ve yet to find much success in international tournaments and looked toothless against Tier-1 teams.
This is a must-win game for Team Falcons, who might not be in the best shape, but they have the quality to run over lower-rated teams.

Legacy are the sixth-highest-rated team in the world, a position they’ve earned with strong performances in recent tournaments. They finished the Esports World Cup in third place, and in September, won FISSURE Playground #3.
Besides two deep tournament runs, Legacy have also proven that they can challenge the world’s best teams, having taken maps off Falcons, Team Vitality, FURIA, and G2 Esports. And if those results are any indication, Legacy should be considered an elite roster.
For ESL Pro League Season 24, Legacy will be without in-game leader Andrei “arT” Piovezan, which is a massive blow. However, the core remains intact, giving Legacy enough strength to handle weaker opponents.
PARIVISION are not a weak team, but their recent form is lacking, as they are 2-5 from their last seven games, with just two wins against TYLOO and 100 Thieves. Unlike Legacy, they have their full roster available, but based on what they’ve shown, PARIVISION are a very hard sell at -158.73.
Legacy at plus money are an easy pick.

Team Vitality have their full lineup available for ESL Pro League, the same roster that recently won StarLadder StarSeries Fall. That title run was not enough to return Vitality to the top of the global CS2 food chain, but they have been ramping up and look more than ready to launch an attack on the ESL Pro League trophy.
1w Team are anything but serious title contenders. They have been struggling against top-rated teams this season and have shown nothing in recent months to suggest they stand a chance against a team like Vitality.
Anything less than a 2-0 sweep for the Bees will be a major disappointment.

This is listed as the most one-sided game of the opening round of ESL Pro League Season 24, as the current world No.1 Team Spirit take on the tournament’s lowest-rated roster, ShindeN.
Team Spirit have been showing exceptional form of late, as they ride massive momentum from consecutive titles from BLAST Open Fall and Esports World Cup. ShindeN have not won anything even remotely comparable to that, nor have they faced a single top-10 ranked team this season.
This is a massive mismatch both in individual skill and LAN experience, and it should show.

Aurora Gaming have been quiet since reaching the semifinals of Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major in June. However, they picked up the pace last month and reached the grand final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026.
Aurora showed their best form in months in Barcelona, giving them some much-needed momentum ahead of ESL Pro League, where they’ll face 9z Team in the opening round.
9z Team, unlike Aurora, enter ESL Pro League in poor shape, with just one win from the last seven games. That run includes defeats against MIBR and G2 Esports at FISSURE Playground #3 just under a month ago.
Aurora Gaming have looked dangerous lately, but their run at StarLadder StarSeries could’ve also been a flash in the pan, so they still have a lot to prove. 9z Team’s form is shaky, but this is still a quality roster, making a closer game a real possibility.

M80 are not expected to accomplish much at ESL Pro League S24, as they’ve been very unsuccessful in their last two big event appearances. In August, they attended the Esports World Cup and BLAST Open Fall, ending the two events in last and ninth-12th place, respectively.
Even in lesser tournaments, M80 have not impressed, with defeats to 3DMAX, B8, Luminosity, and Team Liquid. With those results, M80 should not be considered a real threat to MOUZ, despite MOUZ’s lack of consistency.
MOUZ have been underwhelming in recent months, but they have managed a title from BLAST Bounty Summer and a silver medal from BLAST Open Fall. Their fifth-eighth and fifth-sixth place finishes at the Esports World Cup, and Star Ladder StarSeries stain MOUZ’s form a bit, but they tend to deliver against lower-rated teams.
A 2-0 sweep for MOUZ is likely.

G2 Esports and Natus Vincere have both been producing some questionable results lately. NAVI have not placed higher than ninth in three of the last four events, finally breaking the spell at StarLadder StarSeries Fall, where they finished seventh-eighth. But even that run inspires little confidence.
G2 Esports haven’t been massively more successful across the last few months, but they did show more in September with a silver medal from FISSURE Playground #3. That run alone is a decent reason to view G2 as the better team, and at -138.89, it is hard not to take their side over the limping Natus Vincere.
G2 Esports to win
BetBoom Team are underdogs for their opening match of ESL Pro League Season 24 against FURIA, despite FURIA’s weak form. While FURIA are stronger on paper, they’ve also been losing and struggling to produce much since the IEM Cologne Major, dropping maps against FUT Esports, GamerLegion, MIBR, and 9z Team.
BetBoom Team’s list of accomplishments is rather short, but they have been showing some pulse in September, with wins against BIG, Astralis, MIBR, and a close 1-2 loss against G2 Esports.
Rightly viewed as underdogs, BB Team have shown previously that they can catch top teams off guard, and facing an out-of-form FURIA is a perfect opportunity for BetBoom Team to do just that.
