Alexandre “bodyy” Pianaro announced on Monday that he is leaving Fnatic after spending the last month on the bench of the European Counter-Strike 2 team.
Bodyy enters free agency after just over a year with the Black & Orange, having failed to achieve much consistency since joining the team in November 2023.
Under his leadership, Fnatic peaked at No.21 in the world rankings in August after a runner-up finish at CCT Season 2 European Series #6.
That was one of few notable tournament runs Fnatic managed in 2024, besides two trophies from RES European Series #1 and Series #6, a silver medal from FiReLEAGUE Global Final 2023, and a semifinal run at RES Regional Champions.
“I want to thank the players and staff for the experiences we shared and the work we put in together. It wasn’t the easiest period for any of us, but I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned along the way,” bodyy said in his farewell post on X.
Today marks the end of my journey with @FNATIC. I want to thank the players and staff for the experiences we shared and the work we put in together. It wasn’t the easiest period for any of us, but I’m grateful for everything I’ve learned along the way.

In the post, bodyy hinted that he has yet to find a new home but is ready to join a new project as a player or in-game leader.
Bodyy’s departure was revealed one month after he was benched, alongside Tim “nawwk” Jonasson, following an early elimination from the Perfect World Shanghai Major in December.
Fnatic have since replaced bodyy and nawwk with two Ukrainian players, Denis “Burmylov” Buraga and in-game leader Rodyon “fear” Smyk, who debuted during the team’s 17th-32nd result in the BLAST Bounty Spring 2025 Closed Qualifiers.
