Anyone’s Legend defeat Bilibili Gaming in LPL 2025 Split 2 final, claim ¥1,000,000, 90 points, and secure MSI and Esports World Cup berths.
Anyone’s Legend outlasted Bilibili Gaming in the League of Legends Pro League (LPL) 2025 Split 2 grand final on
Saturday, securing the organization’s first LPL trophy.
For their efforts, Anyone’s Legend have pocketed ¥1,000,000 (≈ US$139,244) in tournament winnings, 90 LPL
points and the right to carry the tag as the No. 1 seed from China in the Esports World Cup 2025 and the Mid-
Season Invitational 2025.
Anyone’s Legend enjoyed a promising start to the 2025 LoL esports season with their new roster.
Fielding two new players, jungler Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong and top laner Li “Flandre” Xuanjun, Anyone’s Legend
won the Demacia Cup 2024 and kept their wheels spinning into LPL 2025 Split 1.
Their run through the first split, however, had a bittersweet ending.
While it marked AL’s best split since the team entered the Chinese premier LoL league in 2022, Anyone’s Legend
had to admit defeat to Top Esports in the grand finals, missing out on attending the inaugural First Stand
tournament.
The second split of the year started similarly. Only this time, they were more efficient in the knockout stage.
Anyone’s Legend again proved to be at the top of the food chain during the regular season, ending the group
stage with a 13-5 record, just two wins below the defending champions Top Esports.
Then, very early into the playoffs, Anyone’s Legend proved they came to play, beating Team WE and Weibo
Gaming with 3-0 and 3-1, respectively.
Tarzan and co. had to dig deep in the upper bracket finals to make it past the surging Biliblii Gaming on map five.
However, despite struggling against BLG in the upper bracket final, Anyone’s Legend cracked the code for the big
game and defeated the 2024 LoL World Championship runners-up in four maps.
With the conclusion of LPL 2025 Split 2, all teams but Anyone’s Legend and Bilibili Gaming enter the offseason,
which will drag out until the start of the final split in late July.
Meanwhile, LPL’s top two seeds have just under two weeks to prepare for the Mid-Season Invitational 2025, where
they’ll fight for a direct invite to the LoL World Championship.
Four days after the conclusion of MSI 2025, both Anyone’s Legend and Bilibili Gaming will also get to represent
their region at the Esports World Cup 2025, scheduled to begin on July 16, 2025
