VALORANT Champions 2026 continues on September 29 with G2 vs Paper Rex and Karmine Corp vs NRG in winners matches.

VALORANT Champions 2026 resumes on Tuesday, September 29, when G2 Esports clash with Paper Rex in Group C and Karmine Corp take on NRG in the Group D Winners Match.

Paper Rex had a disappointing run through Stage 2, but that did not stop them from starting VALORANT Champions strong, beating Team Liquid 2-1 on Thursday.
G2 Esports have been just as successful in the first round of Group C, as they defeated TYLOO 2-0, while dropping just nine rounds across the series.
G2 Esports beating TYLOO is not a massive accomplishment.
So, while they looked good on the day, G2 still have a lot more to prove, after a very questionable streak of results over the last couple of months.
Something similar can be said about Paper Rex; however, there is something else to consider.
The VCT Pacific titans are known to step it up on international stages, whereas G2 Esports’ international reputation is the exact opposite.
Moreover, according to recent reports, Jacob “valyn” Batio and Andrej “babybay” Francisty are both on their way out of the team, which does not help the morale within the roster.
G2 played well against TYLOO, but Paper Rex are an entirely different beast.
Paper Rex to win
Despite producing a strong start to the VALORANT Champions campaign, Karmine Corp are listed as +123 underdogs by the best esports bookmakers to take down NRG on Tuesday.
This appears to be a very generous number, although there are reasons to doubt KC.
The VCT EMEA representatives played terribly for most of the season, up until Stage 2, when they suddenly woke up and won the regional league.
Karmine Corp have yet to show any signs of slowing down, beating XLG Esports 2-0 in the first round of Group D, with 13-3 on Sunset and 13-6 on Abyss.
NRG were just as successful, as they swept Nongshim RedForce with 13-5 on Lotus and 13-10 on Split.
Beating RedForce is no small feat and a good sign that NRG are in excellent shape.
However, that does not guarantee them success against Karmine Corp.
Qualitatively, there is little to separate the two teams.
NRG are the defending champions and have a more experienced roster, but Karmine Corp have looked better over the last two months.
Lack of international appearances works against KC here, but that is a poor reason not to take their side at plus money.
Karmine Corp to win
