Counter-Strike 2 coach T.c. has confirmed he is a free agent after leaving Passion UA in June following the team’s collapse.

CS2 news

Counter-Strike 2 coach Tiaan “T.c” Coertzen announced on Tuesday, August 18, that he is a free agent and open to new opportunities.

T.c., who was the last coach of Passion UA, revealed that he has been a free agent since June, when the South African strategist left the Ukrainian team.

The social media post, which revealed T.c.’s situation, comes shortly after the CS2 scene learned about Passion UA’s collapse due to financial struggles, which led to the organisation’s liquidation and the departure of all members.

As a result, T.c. has been without a team since June.

The 33-year-old joined Passion UA in April, following a long three-year stint with Complexity, where he found success on some of the biggest stages.

Notably, T.c. helped Complexity place top-four at BLAST Premier Fall 2023 and ESL Pro League Season 19, as well as secure a gold medal from ESL Challenger at DreamHack Summer in 2024.

With Passion UA, the ex-Complexity coach found early success. The team regularly placed high in various DraculaN events, and even reached the third stage of StarLadder Budapest Major in late 2025.

In 2026, T.c. helped his team place second in Ace North American Masters Spring and successfully qualified for Intel Extreme Masters Atlanta via the North American qualifier. However, since then, notable accomplishments have been hard to come by.

In April, Passion UA made some noise with a top-four finish at DraculaN Season 6 and a silver medal from Urban Riga Open #4, but those remained their most notable happenings in a long streak of underwhelming tournament runs.

The team eventually collapsed and skipped out on BC.Game Masters Championship #2, with Passion UA’s 13th-16th-place finish at IEM Atlanta in May marking their final tournament placement.

After a tumultuous stint with Passion UA, T.c. is now back on the market and open to new opportunities as the only ex-Passion UA member yet to find a new home.
