Rex Regum Qeon started their VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 2 campaign with a 0-2 defeat against Global Esports.
It was a fairly competitive game, ending 9-13 on Sunset and 14-16 on Summit. However, RRQ made too many mistakes to come out ahead.
ZETA DIVISION were just as unsuccessful in the opening week of play, when they lost to Gen.G with 7-13 on Ascent and 14-16 on Sunset.

DetonatioN FocusMe lost their first game of Stage 2 against DRX, but they made it interesting.
DFM won the opener on Split with 13-11, but could not keep up on Sunset and Summit, losing the two maps with 6-13 and 7-13.
Paper Rex also failed to start their Pacific Stage 2 campaign with a win, as they had to admit defeat to T1 in a tightly contested series, which featured two overtimes.
Paper Rex managed to edge out a win on Ascent with 13-11, but got outclassed on Sunset with 12-14 and Breeze with 15-17.
That loss does not prove anything, as T1 are one of the league’s strongest teams. Moreover, it does not take away from the fact that Paper Rex are VCT Pacific’s most successful squad and two-time Masters silver medallists.
DetonatioN FocusMe can bite, but they have yet to show enough to believe they can cause any meaningful issues for Paper Rex.
