Saturday’s VALORANT EWC slate features 100 Thieves, BBL, NRG, Team Vitality, Paper Rex and Karmine Corp in key group games.

VALORANT Esports World Cup 2026 continues on Saturday, July 4, with the second set of fixtures across Group A and Group B. 100 Thieves face BBL Esports and Team Vitality clash with NRG for spots in the playoffs, while Rex Regum Qeon, EDward Gaming, Karmine Corp, and Paper Rex fight for survival.
Here you can find free VALORANT betting predictions and picks for the four games, along with odds courtesy of the best bookmakers for esports punters.
BBL Esports picked up a big victory against EDward Gaming in the first round of Group A, reverse-sweeping the Chinese champions with a 13-7 win on Ascent and a 13-3 stomp on Sunset.
It was one of BBL’s best games of the spring split and possibly an indication that the Turkish squad have found their form at the right time.
100 Thieves kicked off the Esports World Cup with a 2-0 sweep of Rex Regum Qeon, winning 13-10 on Ascent and 13-5 on Breeze. Like BBL, 100 Thieves exceeded expectations, although they had the luxury of facing a weaker team.
The best VALORANT bookmakers have 100 Thieves priced as favourites for this match, which is not surprising considering their performances in Stage 1.
However, BBL Esports are no pushovers, and if their performance against EDG is any indication, they should be well-prepared to force a competitive game on Saturday.
EDward Gaming collapsed in the opening round of Group A, when they were reverse-swept by BBL Esports. It was one of EDG’s worst games in recent months and a surprisingly poor performance from the VALORANT Masters London bronze medallists.
Rex Regum Qeon also lost their first game of the tournament against 100 Thieves, managing to reach double digits on just one map.
That marked RRQ’s third loss over a six-game stretch, which includes defeats to T1 and Global Esports, along with victories against DetonatioN FocusMe, DRX, and Gen.G.
Rex Regum Qeon are not in the best shape ahead of Saturday’s game, but EDward Gaming’s performance on Thursday was worrying enough to consider fading them.
As it appears, EDG are fatigued after playing non-stop since late March, and there are questions about the Chinese side’s motivation to perform with VCT China Stage 2 starting in just a week.
NRG and Team Vitality both delivered in the first round of Group B. Team Vitality ran over Karmine Corp, while NRG stunned Masters London silver medallists Paper Rex.
NRG’s victory is far more impressive, but that does not take away from Team Vitality’s strong performances over the last two months, having nearly won VCT EMEA Stage 1 before placing fourth in London.
In contrast, NRG had a shockingly bad run at the recent Masters, where they crashed out in the group stage. However, given their showing on Thursday, NRG seem to have worked through their issues.
This promises to be an entertaining affair between two of the world’s most stacked teams. Even though NRG impressed more than Vitality in round one of Group B, that is hardly a good enough reason to take their side in this contest.
At plus money, Team Vitality are a no-brainer pick.
Paper Rex slipped against NRG in the first round of Group B, but considering they only recently finished their Masters London campaign, it is hard to be too critical. Fatigue must be setting in for the VCT Pacific champions, who have not had much of a break since the start of Stage 1.
Even though Paper Rex are not at full strength, it is hard to make a solid case against them in this match. Karmine Corp not only looked toothless against Team Vitality last time out, but they have also been one of the least successful VCT EMEA teams of the season.
Their only notable success was qualifying for the Esports World Cup, and even that only required them to defeat GIANTX, Eternal Fire, and the disjointed Fnatic.
Paper Rex are arguably the strongest team Karmine Corp have faced this season, and KC’s record against VCT EMEA’s top dogs suggests this will not be an easy game for them.
