Paper Rex and DRX will cross swords on Thursday, February 12, in the lower bracket quarterfinals of VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) 2026 Pacific Kickoff.

Both teams have failed to find much traction in the VCT Pacific Kickoff, dropping two games. DRX slipped against FULL SENSE and T1, while Paper Rex had to admit defeat to Rex Regum Qeon and T1.

Paper Rex have made just one roster change for the 2026 season, adding Adrian “invy” Reyes, but despite the strong continuity, success has been hard to come by.

Despite the slow start, DRX have shown much better performances in the last two outings, suggesting Kang “BeYN” Ha-bin and his crew are finding their stride.

However, DRX have been improving, they have shown ability to adapt, and a deep map pool. Paper Rex haven’t looked terrible, but also very unstable on all maps except for Pearl, suggesting they still have a lot of work to do before entering the conversation of serious title contenders.

This is much closer to a coin flip than the latest odds suggest. DRX at plus money are worth a look.
