Team Liquid face FlyQuest in the LCS 2026 Summer Playoffs upper bracket semifinals, with TL backed to sweep.

FlyQuest will look to cause an upset on Sunday, September 20, in the League of Legends Championship Series 2026 Summer upper bracket semifinals, when they face off against Team Liquid.
These two teams already met in the third week of the regular season, when Team Liquid won 2-0 and have since added four more victories over a five-game stretch.
That was enough for Liquid to end the group stage in second place, with a 6-1 record and an equally impressive 12-3 map record.
FlyQuest have not been nearly as successful in the summer split.
They managed three wins from seven games, which was far below expectations for a team who placed fourth in LCS Spring.
Despite showing promise early into the season, FlyQuest have not looked great in the summer split, and barely clawed their way into the playoffs.
On a more positive note, they took down Sentinels in the first round of the knockout stage with a 3-0 sweep.
That victory, as impressive as it may seem on paper, was nothing to write home about.
The clash between Sentinels and FlyQuest was a bit of a fiesta, which could have easily ended the other way, with at least two of the three maps going down to the wire.
FlyQuest were not great during the regular season, and their win over Sentinels does not move the needle much, so it is very hard to make a good case for Song “Quad” Soo-hyung and his crew as they take on the hottest team in the league.
Team Liquid are listed as -476.19 favourites on the top-rated bookmakers to win on Sunday, which gives them an 82.6% implied probability of winning the series.
This is a high number, but arguably a fair one.
Liquid have been the best-performing team of the split, and while they lost to LYON during the regular season, the eye test ranks Liquid at the top of the LCS food chain.
One concern with Liquid is their long break, as they have not played an official match in a month.
However, even if Liquid are not at 100%, it is hard to imagine them struggling against FlyQuest, who have looked toothless in games against stronger teams.
FlyQuest defeated Sentinels, but that was mainly due to Sentinels making too many errors.
Liquid are a far more stable team who will not leave the same openings for FlyQuest to take advantage of.
And with the sizeable quality difference, Liquid should be in a fine spot to win without any issues.
A 3-0 sweep pays at +142, which is a very generous offer.
Team Liquid -2.5 maps
