CS2 betting tips

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 is fast approaching, welcoming eight Counter-Strike 2 teams who will battle it out for a share of a US$500,000 prize pool.

Scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 17, StarLadder StarSeries Fall is an upcoming CS2 LAN event, set to take place in Barcelona, Spain.

The eight-team tournament will feature a mix of the top-rated Valve Regional Standings (VRS) teams and four squads who secured their spots via regional qualifiers, creating a competitive field that promises a fierce battle for the gold medal.

The whole event will play out in one stage, a double-elimination bracket, where the eight participating squads will play a series of best-of-three (Bo3) games, up until Sunday, September 20, when the final remaining squads will clash in a best-of-five (Bo5) grand final.

The short-form event will feature 14 games over the four days of play, offering many betting opportunities for esports punters to explore, and you can find some of them in this preview.

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 teams to watch

Team Vitality

Team Vitality are serious challengers to win StarLadder StarSeries Fall, despite not showing the best form over the last few months.

However, earlier this month, they produced their best result since May, with a semifinal run at BLAST Open Fall, even though they did not field a complete roster.

With William “mezii” Merriman returning to the active lineup, Vitality are back at full strength and expected to produce results closer to what they did earlier this season.

However, the long break for the British player will result in some rust, and possibly a slower start for the most accomplished team of the season.

MOUZ

MOUZ head to Spain as the most in-form team in the field, having made finals of two of the last three big events.

They won BLAST Bounty Summer in August, and earlier this month, secured a silver medal from BLAST Open Fall.

Between the two promising tournament runs, MOUZ suffered an early elimination from the Esports World Cup, where they had to admit defeat to FUT Esports in the quarterfinals.

Despite that slip-up, however, MOUZ have, over the last two months, produced a promising 12-3 record, with two defeats against FUT and one against Team Spirit.

That run includes a few notable wins, including against Team Vitality, Team Falcons, 9z Team, and Team Spirit, proving that MOUZ are in solid shape and more than capable of launching an attack on the StarLadder StarSeries Fall trophy.

FURIA

FURIA travel to Spain in questionable form.

Since their run to the grand final at Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major in June, FURIA have not reached the same heights.

They exited BLAST Bounty Summer in the first round, then made a run to a fourth-place finish at the Esports World Cup, before turning back into a pumpkin at BLAST Open Fall and FISSURE Playground #3, where they placed fifth-sixth.

While FURIA are always a threat, they need to find their old form to be considered serious challengers for bigger trophies.

Natus Vincere

Natus Vincere, much like FURIA, enter StarLadder StarSeries Fall in poor form, having failed to live up to expectations in the last four months.

Since their title run at IEM Atlanta in May, Natus Vincere have suffered early eliminations from the IEM Cologne Major in ninth-11th, the Esports World Cup in ninth-16th, and BLAST Open Fall in ninth-12th.

Over that stretch, NAVI have played 11 games and won just five, against Legacy, The MongolZ twice, 3DMAX, and paiN Gaming, not beating many top-rated teams.

Natus Vincere have proven before that they can challenge the world’s elite, but until they find some footing, NAVI are hard to trust to make a run in Spain.

Aurora Gaming

Aurora Gaming are one of the dark horses to surprise and challenge for a StarLadder StarSeries Fall trophy.

With their firepower, Aurora have shown before that they can disrupt some of the world’s highest-rated teams; however, they have been unsuccessful in their attempts to win a gold medal this season.

Since reaching the semifinals of IEM Cologne Major, Aurora have exited BLAST Bounty Summer in last place, the Esports World Cup in ninth-16th, and, more recently, BLAST Open Fall in seventh-eighth.

Over the last few weeks, Aurora Gaming have also failed to defeat top-rated squads, with defeats to FURIA and G2 Esports twice.

So, while Aurora have beaten the likes of M80, DENDELE, and JiJieHao, their lack of success against higher-rated squads is worrying.

StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026 predictions

Outright bet – Team Vitality

Team Vitality are a bit of an enigma, as they welcome back mezii to the active roster.

The Brit’s return could lead to a period of instability as he shakes off the rust; however, with their full roster available, Vitality could just as likely find their old form and re-emerge as the world’s best team.

Team Vitality might have struggled for months, but they showed more signs of life at BLAST Open Fall, which is promising and potentially a sign of good things to come.

And considering this roster has dominated the CS2 scene for over a year, it is fair to put some trust in the Bees and their chances to step it up in Spain.

Outsider bet – FURIA to reach final

FURIA have been very underwhelming of late, failing to make a run to a podium finish in their last four attempts.

However, this same roster made the finals of the IEM Cologne Major, and they did not look too bad at the Esports World Cup.

Consistency has not been FURIA’s strong suit this season; however, the potential is there, and if FURIA can find some early momentum, they could find themselves in a good spot to reach the grand final.

With a favourable draw, a top-two finish should not escape them, as FURIA, even in their current state, are stronger than any team not named Vitality or MOUZ.
