The Gamers8 2023 tournament will be held from August 24 – 27 with 24 teams participating in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. There will be 24 international teams from all over the world invited to take part in the potentially game-changing event in the Middle-East. The Rocket League esports teams will be playing for a massive US$2,000,000 prize pool with no Rocket League Circuit Points up for grabs at this event as it is not an official Psyonix run event. We are yet to see any Gamers8 odds for the 2022 event and we will update our Gamers8 betting page when more information because available.

There will be 24 teams competing at the Rocket League Gamers8 tournament, with these set to be finalised prior to the tournament.
Gamers8 Tournament structure & format

Group Stage
For the Group Stage, there will be four groups of six teams, playing a double elimination bracket. All matches are best-of-five series with all five games being different to the last.
Two teams at the Rocket League Gamers8 event from each group will advance to the playoffs with the winner of both the upper-bracket and lower-bracket finals advancing to the Quarter-Finals.
All of the teams will have to choose what players will play in a 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 match.
With all of the five games being different to the last.
- Game 1: Normal 3v3
- Game 2: The loser of Game 1 will get to choose between a 1v1 or 2v2
- Game 3: Normal 3v3
- Game 4: The game mode that was not used in Game 2
- Game 5: Normal 3v3

Playoffs
Every team will once again have to choose what players participate in each of the 1v1 and 2v2 games, with every match set to be a best-of-seven. The layout of the seven games will be played in this sequence.
- Game 1: Normal 3v3
- Game 2: The loser of Game 1 will get to choose between a 1v1 or 2v2 game mode
- Game 3: Normal 3v3
- Game 4: The game mode will be one that has not been chosen in Game 2
- Game 5: Normal 3v3
- Game 6: the loser of Game 5 will get to choose between a 1v1 or 2v2 game mode
