Riot Games confirms VCT Ascension, Game Changers, and new Partner Series events for the 2025 VALORANT offseason. See all dates and locations.
Riot Games have announced a packed post-VALORANT Champions 2025 schedule, with several major events, including Ascension, Game Changers, and international competitions.
In the past, the VALORANT off-season offered a packed schedule of tournaments, which did not leave any esports fan indifferent. And this year will be no different.
Riot Games have shared a preview for the 2025 offseason in an X post, with more information said to be revealed in the coming months.
Following the conclusion of the VALORANT Champions Tour (VCT) season, the shift will focus on the annual promotion events – Ascension.
The 2025 Ascension will begin a week after the conclusion of VALORANT Champions 2025 and run from October 13 to 26.
The events will feature the top Challengers and Ascended teams, competing for spots in their respective regional VCT leagues.
Riot Games also revealed that the Game Changers Championship 2025 will take place at LoL Park in Seoul, Korea, on November 20-30.
A big change for this year’s Game Changers Championship is the introduction of the Americas Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ).
The Americas LCQ will take place in Riot Games studio in São Paulo, Brazil and welcome the second-place teams from Latin America, Brazil, and North America, who will battle it out for the final spot in the season-culminating event.
On top of VCT Ascension tournaments and the Game Changers Championship 2025, Riot Games will again host VCT Partner Series events.
Currently, only three are confirmed for the upcoming offseason, including a new VALORANT tournament, Project Blender.
Project Blender introduces a new spin to VALORANT events, featuring squads from all tiers and ecosystems, with an open qualifier of up to 1024 squads.
The newly-introduced event will culminate with the finals sometime in December.
While Riot Games have shared plans for the upcoming offseason, the VALORANT world is currently focused on the VALORANT Masters Toronto 2025, which will conclude on Sunday, June 22, with the grand finals between Fnatic and Paper Rex.
