Riot celebrates 15 years of LoL and Worlds with new merch

Riot Games has dropped a bunch of new merch to celebrate 15 years of League of Legends and the start of the LoL Worlds, which kicks off next week. 

Riot unveiled the Worlds Unlocked 2025 Collectors Edition in conjunction with Opera X, which is a special version of the Opera Web browser that is designed specifically for gamers. 

Launching October 9 via the Riot Games Merch Store, this year’s edition is larger than ever, celebrating 15 years of LoL Esports with exclusive collectibles and in-game content. 

The standout feature is a rising Nexus replica centerpiece surrounded by unique items like wind-up minions, a scuttle crab plush, and a Worlds 2025 pin set. 

Partners HyperX and Mercedes-Benz add premium touches — including a branded mouse, mousepad, multitool, and lanyard — rounding out a must-have bundle for fans.

Remarkably it’s over 15 years since League of Legends first emerged, and it will be the 15th edition of the LoL Worlds, which was first won by Fnatic way back in 2011. 

The past two LoL Worlds have been won by Chinese esports team T1, but they face a do-or-die playin clash against Invictus Gaming, with the winner earning their spot in the main draw.

Gen.G is the favourite to win LoL Worlds 2025 at +125 after further shorting with esports betting sites over the weekend.

The Worlds Unlocked 2025 Collectors edition is retailing for $99 USD.
