After winning the Game Changers Championship, Shopify Rebellion are hoping Victor “v1c” Truong can help their main roster achieve similar success in the NA VALORANT Challengers League.

V1c, who was previously a member of T1 Academy and SoaR, joined the team in November. He replaced Tanner “TiGG” Spanu, who had left the former Luminosity roster a month earlier. V1c’s strong performance in various roles using multiple agents played a crucial role in the team’s victory at the BoomTV VALORANT Select, his first event with Shopify Rebellion.

During the Knights Arena Freezeout tournament, which was a part of the VCT OFF//SEASON 2022 circuit, the agent and role diversity of the team was particularly impressive against tougher competition. V1c performed exceptionally well against strong tier-two contenders such as Oxygen and TSM, securing more kills in Shopify’s semifinal win over Oxygen and their grand final win over TSM.

He put up a stellar performance against Oxygen on the Bind map, finishing with 22 kills and only eight deaths while using his utility effectively to contribute nine assists. This strong attack led to a victory for Shopify, capped off by a Reyna 4k and defuse. Despite a difficult Brimstone game against TSM, where he had only four kills, he was able to bounce back and perform exceptionally on Omen and Viper in the grand final to secure the win.

V1c has demonstrated his versatility as a player during his time with Shopify, performing well with various agents and roles in the two tournaments he has participated in. In the past two months, he has played nine different agents in total.

Despite being just 17 years old, v1c has a strong understanding of the game and is skilled in all roles. He consistently performs well and has the potential to continue improving as he becomes more comfortable with his primary role on the team.
