ANYONE’S LEGEND vs FUNPLUS PHOENIX LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: AL +137 at BetOnline | FPX -188.68 at BetOnline
When: March 17, 2023 | 17:00 CST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

Anyone’s Legend won a map against LNG Esports (1-2) on Wednesday, which looks quite impressive for their standards, but this minor achievement doesn’t take away from AL’s 2-11 record and 29% map win rate this split.

Since Anyone’s Legend were guaranteed to miss the playoffs, they have started posting better results, but in all of the games where AL caused an upset or won a map against a stronger team, it was mostly their opponents making mistakes.

FunPlus Phoenix aren’t in a much better spot than Anyone’s Legend, with a 3-10 record, which includes two victories over the last two weeks – against Ninjas in Pyjamas (2-0) and Rare Atom (2-0). On paper, this looks seriously good, but NiP aren’t very strong, and Rare Atom are far from a good team.

FPX and AL have both produced a couple of good results lately, but none hold any serious weight, so as much as we can try to set them apart, this is still a 50/50 fixture. And at the offered LoL betting odds, it’s not difficult to decide where to place our money.

EDWARD GAMING vs OMG LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: EDG -833.33 at BetOnline | OMG +450 at BetOnline
When: March 17, 2023 | 19:00 CST
Watch Live: Lolesports, Twitch

EDward Gaming are on a six-game winning streak, which helped them surpass LNG Esports and JD Gaming as the current LoL Pro League leaders. Their next opponents, OMG, are 8-5 and on a three-game winning streak, but they’ve only beaten FunPlus Phoenix, Anyone’s Legend, and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

And not only have OMG won only against three of the league’s weakest teams, but they also needed three maps in all of their wins. That is, however, hardly shocking, knowing that OMG tend to play at the level of their opponents.

This, unfortunately, won’t happen on Friday since OMG don’t have the players to match EDward Gaming. But even more concerning is OMG’s macro, which can’t compare to that of EDG, so anything less than a 2-0 sweep for the favourites would be a massive disappointment.
