ThunderTalk Gaming replaced its bottom lane ahead of the 2023 season, signing ADC Tang “huanfeng” Huan-Feng and support Li “XinLiu” Tan-Pan-Ao, formerly of Weibo Gaming and Invictus Gaming, respectively. Those are solid additions that could make TT Gaming a very competitive team.

Most of it will come down to Huanfeng and whether the meta will suit him, but if jungler Yang “Beichuan” Ling and the rest of the team can enable the Chinese ADC, ThunderTalk Gaming are bound to make some noise this season.

LNG Esports put together a very strong roster, with Lee “Scout” Ye-chan in the mid and Tang “Zika” Hua-Yu in the top lane. The question is, however, how much stronger this iteration of LNG is compared to 2022.

There isn’t much to separate these two teams, and the outcome of Tuesday’s match will come down mainly to whether the carry players will step up. Still, we would rank LNG Esports slightly higher mainly because TT Gaming have just huanfeng to rely on, while LNG can win games through mid, top or bottom lane.

ROYAL NEVER GIVE UP vs INVICTUS GAMING LoL BETTING & MATCH DETAILS

Best Odds: RNG -1000 at BetOnline | IG +600 at BetOnline
When: January 17, 2023 | 19:00 CST
Watch Live: Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/lpl)

Invictus Gaming kicked off the 2023 League of Legends Pro League season with a 2-0 sweep of Anyone’s Legend, despite not playing with mid laner Kim “Dove” Jae-yeon, who was replaced by top laner Zhao “neny” Zhi-Hao.

It was an impressive result, but we’re mostly interested in how well support Zhang “Wink” Rui played. Wink wil play an important role in this team’s success, and if he can keep performing at the highest level, then we can start talking about Invictus Gaming possibly having a solid season.

Royal Never Give Up made several roster changes earlier this month, adding Xiang “Angel” Tao, Lin “Tangyuan” Yu-Hong, Liu “Bunny” Wen-Kang, and Wei “ziyou” Zhen-Jie to the main lineup. Although building around former academy players can lead to an adjusting period, RNG quickly proved their strength by decimating Oh My God (2-0) on Sunday.

RNG deserve to be priced as the favourites, but -1000 so early into the season seems a bit much. Invictus Gaming have enough talent to cause some damage and are a solid pick to win one map at +162.
